This is a wheel-thrown, handmade mug measuring about 4.5 inches tall and 3.5 inches in diameter. This cup is mostly a glossy black glaze, and a part of the cup near the handle is a glossy pale bronze glaze.
There is two small droplets slip trailed to the right of the handle, and a spot on the lip where the cup was pushed in to give the cup a human touch.
All glazes used for this cup are food safe. The clay body is a cone 6 white stoneware that is fired to maturity, which can survive the microwave and the dishwasher, though I recommend hand washing and to avoid the microwave if possible.
The glazes are permanent and will not wash off or fade with use.
