This is a wheel-thrown, handmade yarn bowl or knitting bowl measuring about 5 inches tall and 8 inches in diameter. It can hold a ball of yarn about the size of a small cantaloupe.
The outside of the cup is blue on the bottom half and a glossy white on the top half. Around the body of the bowl is several varying sized holes, and there is one deeper cut on the front of the bowl.
The bottom has purposely been left mostly rough to avoid sliding on a carpeted floor.
All glazes used for this cup are food safe glazes. The clay body is a cone 6 white stoneware that is fired to maturity.
The glazes are permanent and will not wash off or fade with use.
