Traditionally sculpted in clay, each buckle is cold-cast in an iron and urethane resin mix for a true metallic surface, with ghostly glow-in-the-dark eyes that look pale-green in the light then glow brilliantly in the dark! No filters or photoshop tricks here, charge the eyes under a strong light - sunlight is best - and they shine like crazy!
About cold-casting:
I mix metal powder in with the surface layer of urethane resin for the metallic surface, backfill the skull with black resin, heat it, coat in a black wax, then buffed to reveal the details. The final piece is fixed to a stainless steel belt buckle assembly. Strong but lightweight, and no paint to chip! Ships ready to wear!
